Pet Molecule – A single ribbon of steel bent and twisted

It is a single, continuous ribbon of steel cut out of a flat sheet that I twisted and bent until it turned into this. It has crossed my mind that if I cut it in one spot, twisted that half a turn, and then welded it back together, it would be a Mobius Strip. Does that mean I can describe this, as it is, as a Non-Mobius Strip?

I am unlikely to post anything about others I make because taking and posting photos takes so much time and is so much less interesting than making the art. However, if you happen to be in southern Ohio, they will be in my studio in Cincinnati at the Pendleton Art Center (link opens another page).
